The National Biodiversity Institute (INBio) of Costa Rica is a private research and biodiversity management center that was established in 1989 to support efforts to gather knowledge about Costa Rican biological diversity and promote its sustainable use.

INBioparque is a wild life park that offers an interactive experience with nature. For example, you can enjoy the butterfly garden, stroll around the lagoon, or even visit the aquarium. Also, you can learn about the farm and its different crops.

As you hike along INBIo’s trails, you will get a close sight of poisonous frogs, bullet ants, boas, caimans, turtles, iguanas and tarantulas, as well as sloths and other native species.

If you are in San Jose, Heredia, or Alajuela, you can visit this amazing park and enjoy Costa Rican nature with your family.
